Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding transaction charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: €50 for credit card payments
Conditions: Needs to be requested through written communication like email or telephonically
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the total cost of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: €25 deducted from the refunded amount
Conditions: A valid reason must be provided; administrative expenses are in effect
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refunds are not available
Exception: Only emergency scenarios might be taken into consideration
Alternative: A credit for a future charter might be offered at the discretion of the management
Conditions: Emergency claims have to be supported with documentation
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Our highest priority is safety. In case our certified captain judges the weather conditions as unsafe for sailing, we present you with these flexible choices:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling isn't an option, a total refund will be given
- Reschedule: You may change the date of your charter to the soonest available slot with no extra cost
- Charter Credit: Secure a credit that remains valid for one year from the original charter date
Weather Assessment Process
We perform a comprehensive weather evaluation that includes:
- Analysis of wind speeds and directions
- Determining wave height and maritime conditions
- Forecasting visibility and precipitation
- Heeding Coast Guard advisories and alerts
- Thorough safety assessment by a professional captain
Decision Timeline: Decisions regarding weather-related cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the set sail time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We realize medical emergencies are unforeseeable. Special consideration may be given for the following situations:
- Sudden illnesses or injuries that necessitate hospital care
- Loss of an immediate family member
- Urgent military duty or recall
- Being summoned for jury duty or a legal subpoena
- Natural calamities impacting travel plans
Documentation Requirements
For processing requests under emergency circumstances, kindly provide:
- Verification from a medical institution or medical certificates
- Official death certificates, if relevant
- Military dispatch orders
- Notification of court summons or jury service
- Emergency declarations or travel advisories
Processing: Once we receive the necessary documents, emergency refunds will be processed within a timeframe of 3-5 business days.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
In the event that the assigned vessel encounters solvable mechanical problems:
- Alternative Vessel: We will make efforts to provide a similar alternative
- Full Refund: Granted in case a suitable alternative is unavailable
- Partial Refund: Provided if the replacement vessel carries different rates
- Compensation: We may offer additional compensation to accommodate for the inconvenience
Crew Unavailability
Though infrequent, should a situation arise where certified crew cannot be present:
- We'll try to arrange for an alternative crew
- A full refund is granted if the charter cannot be carried out
- Rescheduling options will be provided at no additional expense
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Refunds are issued using the original payment methods:
- Credit Cards: Processed within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Require 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: Completed within 3-5 business days
Processing Fees
Credit Card Processing
A €50 fee applies for cancellations done more than 72 hours before the charter date
Bank Transfer Processing
A €25 fee is charged for refunding via bank transfer
International Processing
Additional fees may be incurred for refunds involving international transactions
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
Charter credits can be provided instead of a refund under certain conditions:
- When cancellation occurs within less than 24 hours
- In the event of weather-related cancellations
- Upon guest requests to reschedule
- Due to unforeseen operational disturbances
Credit Terms
- Validity: Credits are valid for one year from their issuance
- Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to others
- Value: They represent the full value of the charter without deductions for processing
- Usage: They may be used for booking any upcoming charters
- Expiration: Validity cannot extend beyond 12 months
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
If your sea-voyage experience is interrupted or shortened due to our responsibility:
- Refunds will be prorated according to unutilized time
- Options for future charter credits of equal value will be offered
- Complimentary services or upgrades may be provided as compensation
Guest-Related Interruptions
Should a charter need to end prematurely due to guest actions or safety breaches:
- No refunds will be made for the remainder of the time scheduled
- The full payment will still be required
- Additional costs may be incurred
Dispute Resolution
In case of a disagreement with our refund evaluation, you can:
- Ask for a reassessment from our management
- Present additional documents or evidence
- Seek resolution via consumer protection agencies
- Engage in legal action if needed according to the applicable laws

Step 3: Review and Processing
Upon receipt, we will confirm your request within a day, conduct a review based on our policy within two days, and proceed with processing approved refunds within the times stated previously.
Important Notes
- All requests for refunds must be in written form
- All reimbursements are executed in €, irrespective of the currency of initial payment
- We highly suggest obtaining travel insurance
- This policy is open to amendments, provided a 30-day notice period
- Refund transactions are in line with prevailing taxes and regulations
